  • House Keeper

Hours: 24 hours per week (6 hours per day)

Shift patterns involved: Working by 4 days on 4 days off basis

Rate of Pay: £9.15 per hour

Employment requirements: Fully registered online DBS

Duties & Responsibilities: To provide a homely and safe environment for up to 25 elderly adults including those with dementia so they can enjoy the most independent life as possible. To keep the home clean following all infection prevention and control measures. To work collaboratively with other team members in a range of flexible rota arrangements, days, weekends and bank holidays. Someone who is committed to training and development of themselves.

  • Care Assistant

Hours: 36 hours per week

Shift patterns involved: 8am – 3pm, 3pm – 10pm and 10pm – 8am (to provide care 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year)

Rate of Pay: £9.15 – £9.35 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

Employment requirements: Fully registered online DBS, minimum NVQ 2 preferred

Duties & Responsibilities: To assist residents with all aspects of personal care including to rise, wash and dress. To assist with toileting, bathing and feeding. To assist with minor domestic duties such as washing, ironing and cleaning.  Complete regular checks on residents. To complete all mandatory paperwork regarding residents.

  • Activities Coordinator

Hours: 32 hours per week working by 4 days on 4 days off basis

Shift patterns involved: 8am – 4pm

Rate of Pay: £9.15 – £9.35 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

Employment requirements: Fully registered online DBS

Duties & Responsibilities: To build warm, caring, and positive relationships with Service Users’, keeping the individual’s best interests in mind always. To plan, prepare, coordinate, deliver and evaluate a programme of activities twice daily. To arrange regular activities including the local community on a weekly basis. To hold a monthly residents meeting including topics that relate to the Health & Safety and the wellbeing of the residents. To work creatively to help individuals recognise achievements, celebrate successes, assist informed decision making, identify problems and find ways of resolving them, and to take advantage of opportunities, gain new experiences, take risks and develop life-skills and confidence. To organize activities that are age appropriate to maintain both fitness and mobility, on a regular basis which are inclusive to all.
